Miller Chapel is the center of worship life at Princeton Theological Seminary, hosting daily services, musical presentations, audio/video recordings and remote transmissions. When the Seminary decided to upgrade their outdated audio/video systems, they called Clear Sound.
Clear Sound assessed the many challenges posed by the aging installation and came up with a plan to upgrade the system as efficiently as possible, using existing components whenever it made sense.
New loudspeakers, wireless microphones, digital signal processors and consoles were installed, while some of the existing loudspeakers and control panels were inspected, cleaned and repaired. New dome cameras were installed inconspicuously, along with remote recording capabilities from a video production suite located in another building.
Today, the Seminary enjoys flawless sound during services, seamless recording and transmission capabilities, and easy-to-use controls designed for nontechnical personnel. The historic Greek Revival interior remains unscathed, thanks to Clear Sound’s sensitive and sophisticated installation.
