Our involvement with Welcome America goes back several years. Initially Clear Sound was brought in by the event planner to act as labor broker. The job requires many people coming and going in a secure location. That means each person is individually scanned and cleared like at the airport. Once on site they’re given credentials and any time they leave the site, they must be scanned back in before returning.
At Clear Sound we have spent the better part of thirty years serving the Philadelphia community with our love and passion for gear. Most people know us for our Productions- the events where our crew and our equipment help make a client’s vision a reality - or Installations, where we permanently install a sound or video system that the client then owns. Many don’t know that the Productions department can also help you get your message heard when you just need the right gear for a little while.
Over the last few weeks, we’ve been helping our friends at Calvary Chapel of Delaware County step up their outdoor service production value. They’ve been friends and clients for many years, and it was time to improve on some of the technology they’re using to address modern challenges. CCDelco holds many outdoor services, which introduces a unique new range of problems to solve. That’s where we shine.
Montgomery County Fire Academy added a partially outdoor classroom to further their mission of public safety training.
Our Accounting Manager, Theresa O'Malley, just published an article on LinkedIn you may enjoy. Making mistakes is not all bad - really!
Across the greater Philadelphia area, synagogues are getting ready for the High Holidays, which begin in mid-September. This preparation happens every year, of course, but like many other aspects of life these days, this year is different.
We’ve worked with the Springhaven Club in Wallingford on a number of projects over the years, and we know they’re always on the lookout for ways to enhance their members’ experience. We were delighted to help them upgrade the pool’s cabana bar area with TVs. Since it’s outdoors, not just any TV would do – they needed to be visible in the bright sunlight of daytime.
Princeton Theological Seminary is a Presbyterian school located right next to Princeton University in New Jersey. Their Miller Chapel already had a fine audio system installed by Clear Sound several years ago, but like most thriving communities, their technical needs have grown and evolved over the years.

During this time of pandemic and necessary restrictions on gatherings to ensure the safety of all, it’s easy to conclude that all events are impossible.
However, as our company and customers have demonstrated, that is simply not true. There are flexible options still available that make use of technology, comply with regulations and practical health concerns and deliver fun and memorable experiences.
The installation team just completed the installation of a Listen Technologies ListenLOOP audio induction loop system at Wesley Enhanced Living Mainline.
Germantown Academy wanted to have their graduation this year as live as they could, while still making the ceremony accessible to as many people as possible despite restrictions on the number of attendees. The school wanted the students to process their traditional path and allow the backdrop of iconic school architecture for photos, so a live event was preferable. However, with the restrictions on numbers of people allowed, the students and their families could not all congregate in the same area in the normal way. We worked with them to create a hybrid virtual-live event.
